This manual three-function orthopedic hospital bed is designed specifically around these requirements.

The bed combines a stainless steel traction frame, independently adjustable left and right leg sections, manual backrest elevation and adjustable bed height. This specialized configuration makes it suitable for hospitals equipping orthopedic wards, trauma departments and postoperative care areas.

Independent Left and Right Leg Sections

The lower mattress platform is divided into separate left and right sections. Unlike a conventional hospital bed where both lower limbs are normally repositioned together, this model allows the two sides to be adjusted independently.

Separate Crank Mechanisms for Each Leg

Two manual crank mechanisms are used to control the left and right leg sections separately. Each section provides an adjustment range of approximately 0–40°, allowing caregivers to raise one side without requiring the opposite side to follow the same movement.

This independent positioning system is one of the key differences between this model and a standard three-function Hospital Bed, and gives orthopedic departments greater flexibility when managing different lower-limb positioning requirements.

Stainless Steel Traction Frame for Orthopedic Applications

A large four-post traction structure surrounds the mattress platform. The traction frame is manufactured from stainless steel and incorporates horizontal and vertical rails with multiple adjustable connection points.

Configurable Traction Accessory Positions

Adjustable clamps can be repositioned along the traction rails, allowing compatible traction components to be arranged according to the required orthopedic setup. This makes the bed more adaptable for hospital departments handling different orthopedic and trauma cases.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction

Using stainless steel for the traction structure provides good resistance to corrosion and repeated cleaning while maintaining a rigid support framework. This is particularly valuable for equipment intended for long-term use in busy orthopedic departments.

Manual Patient Positioning Functions

0–70° Backrest Adjustment

The backrest section can be raised manually from approximately 0° to 70°. This allows the upper body to be repositioned for resting, eating and routine bedside nursing while the patient remains on the same bed.

530–730 mm Bed Height Range

The mattress platform height can be adjusted from approximately 530 mm to 730 mm. The adjustable working height gives nursing staff greater flexibility when carrying out bedside care and other routine procedures.

0–40° Independent Lower-Limb Elevation

The left and right leg sections each provide an adjustment range of approximately 0–40°. Because the two sections use independent controls, their positions do not need to remain synchronized.

Hospital-Oriented Safety and Mobility Configuration

Beyond its orthopedic functions, the bed incorporates practical components required for routine hospital use. The main structure is manufactured from epoxy-coated steel, while PP and other medical-grade plastic components are used in the head and foot board assemblies.

Foldable Aluminum Alloy Side Rails

Foldable aluminum alloy side rails are installed on both sides of the mattress platform. They provide patient protection when raised and can be lowered when medical staff need closer bedside access.

Central Braking System

Four medical casters support movement between hospital care areas. The central braking system allows staff to secure the bed efficiently once it has been moved into the required position.
